Folks, K0ATV Derek & K0FYR Mike have joined forces again for another adventurous stab at WFD on the Buckhouse compound! We will be setting up the XL ice fishing hut, adding heaters, tables & chairs, and of course, radios. What we need is YOU! We’ll be running “O2”, outside & two stations. Come and join us at any point during the event and get on the air, see some awesome field expedient gear setup, or just hang out. Remember, if you are a Technician class & HF curious you can operate with us! Already a General or Expert? Bring your skills! We will be keeping it casual & fun so if you want to learn with real gear in the field this is an awesome opportunity to do so. Also if you want to light the clouds on fire with your insane CW skills, bring it! We will be onsite Friday 23rd at appx 3pm for basic setup (anyone willing to help are welcome). Operating kicks off at Sat 24th at 9am (we’ll be onsite appx 8am to settle in. Come join us!). The event wraps up Sunday at 3pm. This is one of the reasons you joined a “radio club” right???
